3/4 of the OG DiamondHead… and some Danish dude! I spent most of the summer of ’81 hanging with these guys in Stourbridge just outside Birmingham, England, watching them do their band thing and soaking up their vibes. It got myself way inspired to play in band and, when I got back to SoCal a few months later, called a guy I had met earlier named James Hetfield and, …eh- long story short, if it wasn’t for these fellas and their seminal album «Lightning To The Nations» there wouldn’t be etc..etc. Way beyond fuckin’ cool when they show up backstage! ⚡️ #wanna #itsveryelectric #metinbirmingham @diamond_head_official
